Training Camps

ASRA aims to run two training camps during a season.  The first is a long September weekend in Inverness where we use the excellent water of the Caledonian Canal to start rowing some distance in crews, building a solid platform for the season and reforming the club spirit after the break of the summer holidays, the exit of the older members and the start of new ones.

The second camp, for our junior squads, is a week in the Easter holidays.  This camp is designed to transition the competitive rowers from long distance, time-trial racing to the shorter distance, side-by-side regatta season.  For the last four years we have travelled to Kruszwica in Poland.
